Germany - Bielefeld to Cologne

The Shrine of the Cross of Cologne dates back to the early 1100s and is a Byzantine triptych (3 panels) that was donated by the Byzantine Emperor, Alexios I Komnenos. They say it has a fragment of the true Cross built into it making it an important treasure for the Cologne Cathedral.
